Within NSD the National Strategic Networks team hosts a wide range of national clinical strategic networks. It provides consistent, high quality
managerial leadership to enable networks to deliver their aims and objectives to standards and timescales mandated by Scottish Government. With our support, networks focus on what they are set up to achieve – adding value to healthcare providing a ‘Once for Scotland’ approach.
We are seeking an experienced Programme Support Officer to join our team, based in Edinburgh and Glasgow, to support the national strategic maternity network across Scotland. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who works well with others, has excellent interpersonal, organisational, IT and communication skills, is able to work to deadlines and prioritise a busy workload.
The National Maternity Network includes service users, health and other professionals from education, social care and voluntary organisations. Engaging with service users at this level requires the postholder to be able to commit to occasional out of hours work. Frequent travel throughout Scotland is also required. A pool/hire car is available for business use.
