We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and motivated therapist to join our well established Speech and Language
Therapy team for children and young people in Dumfries and Galloway. This community based post is suitable for both newly qualified and experienced SLTs offering an excellent opportunity to develop and extend clinical skills with children and young people across abroad range of speech, language and communication difficulties. You will provide a comprehensive service to both pre- school and school aged children in a variety of community settings across the region working collaboratively with our families and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for our children and young people. Prevention and early intervention is a high priority with a focus on skill sharing and tailoring support according to the needs of individuals and their families.
Ongoing support and training is available through our strong and supportive team structure and review process.
This post is based in Newton Stewart Health Centre but you will work in a variety of locations across the community and therefore must be able to drive independently.
