Ward 68 is part of a regional service that is provided to the West of Scotland. The department provides a 5 day investigation and treatment service to Neurology patients. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 3 to work with the team within Neurology at the Institute of Neurological Sciences, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. We are looking for a Health Care Support Worker to join our team within ward 68. This 17 bedded ward and 12 chair spaces provides neurology care as part of the Neuroscience Service to the West of Scotland.
You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, continuing professional development, an understanding of our service, and the specific needs of our patients (or a commitment to learn and develop these skills).You will demonstrate flexibility, and a willingness to participate in service progression and growth. The ability to work effectively in a team is essential.
You will work 12-hour shifts Monday - Friday
