Aberdeen Maternity Hospital is currently in a new phase of preparing care model pathways for delivery in the New Baird Family Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in taking forward peri-operative and recovery services.
The individual we are looking for will have a determined and focused nature with the ability to lead challenging conversations. An expectation that they will take forward transformational leadership and shared governance within the department is paramount. The ability to work under clinical and workforce pressures whilst supporting their own and staff wellbeing is required. The post holder should have experience at senior level and the drive to take on a challenging position.
Aberdeen Maternity Hospital Labour Ward Theatre is a busy, pressurised and unpredictable perioperative suite which provides a full range of Obstetric surgical services on a 24/7 basis.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills and be motivated to ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate how wellbeing of staff supports service users and the ability to work closely with the wider obstetric team. It would be expected your application would identify skills and attributes that would make you an ideal candidate for the obstetric theatre department.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
