A highly organised individual is required to manage this busy reception. You will also be required to carry out clerical and secretarial duties for clinicians within a variety of services e.g. Sexual Health, School Nursing, Continence, Public Health Nursing and Allied Health Professionals.
You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good all round knowledge and experience of office practices is essential. You should have good typing skills and be proficient in audio typing. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is also required.
Previous NHS or Health & Social Care Partnership experience would be advantageous as would knowledge of medical terminology; Digital Dictation, NaSH or TIARA.
