You willl work across both HSCPs providing social media expertise, health improvement, and community development approaches to support the Inverclyde & West Dunbartonshire HSCP Collective Impact Approach Group in their work to promote breastfeeding uptake and duration, positively change cultural attitudes and reduce attrition rates. You will provide administrative support, and undertake analysis of breastfeeding/ health inequalities data in order to achieve the aims and objectives of the Programme for Government Breast feeding targets as defined by UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative and the local Child and Maternal Infant Nutrition Framework and The HSCP Strategic Aim in relation to breastfeeding. You will work with communities of interest from community councils, and/or patient/user groups and wider community, to enact community engagement standards within health improvement programme design and delivery. You will be responsible for providing Health Improvement and community development expertise and support to key partners and staff in Inverclyde and West Dunbartonshire HSCP’s, contributing to increasing capacity to improve health and reduce inequalities in health. You will be responsible for analysis of breastfeeding/ health inequalities data and related health information to identify local health needs in order to inform policy and practice in a targeted way. It is essential that you have a Health/Social Care & or Social care/Community Development Qualification or Significant relevant experience. The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm between Inverclyde and Dumbartonshire HSCP's
