Feel like a change from the hustle and bustle?
At the Lorn & Islands Hospital we require a scrub/endoscopy practitioner, with a UK recognised qualification.
Some experience within Theatre and some knowledge in endoscopy would be an advantage for this full time post. This post also covers an on call rota for emergencies.
Experience in monitoring of patients receiving conscious sedation for endoscopy would also be advantageous.
In our friendly theatre suite we have one theatre and one endoscopy room where our three general surgeons, one physician, one oral surgeon plus local dentists and a visiting ophthalmologist offer a varied programme of, general surgery, ophthalmology, colorectal, laparoscopic, oral and dental surgery. In addition our physician and surgeons also provide a very busy endoscopy service. We have anaesthetists who provide an offsite ECT service and a support to x-ray and HDU
