As part of the transforming of the way primary care and treatment services will be delivered, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced 1st level registered nurse to join our team of experienced staff in the development of our new Care and Treatment Hubs within Pitlochry Community Hospital.
This post will be aligned to the new care and treatment service models of care delivery.
The post holder will be pivotal in supporting and developing the new service model which will aim to deliver a range of clinical interventions to the patients of North Perthshire within a care and treatment setting clinic with some in-reach work to some GP Practices.
The candidate should have previous experience in managing a nursing team and possess excellent leadership qualities.
The candidate should possess a wide and varied depth of evidenced based knowledge and skills in wound care assessment and management.
Additionally specialist knowledge of dermatology care and treatment pathways will be essential for this post.
Community/clinic based nursing experience would be of an advantage for this position
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register
An ability to travel independently across the locality is essential
