An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Pre-Assessment and Perioperative Medicine Service working across three hospital sites
The post holder will provide advanced theoretical and practice knowledge in the field of Advanced Nursing practice in order to provide direct clinical care to patients and their families within the Tayside PreAssessment Service with opportunities to continue this care in the perioperative period.
With proven management skills within a clinical setting and demonstrating excellent leadership and communication, you will have the ability to adapt to changing levels of activity and acuity within the preassessment service and surgical unit and work in an autonomous role exercising advanced practice skills, knowledge and clinical expertise.
Evidence of continual professional development within an appropriate clinical setting, the proven ability to work toward Masters Level learning in Advanced Nursing Practice and hold a qualification as an Independent Nurse Prescriber is essential. Extensive experience in more than one speciality at Band 5 level is essential, and experience at Band 6/7 level is desirable.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register and educated at Degree Level.
