Post Consultant Orthodontist
Post Location NHS Lanarkshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Orthodontist to join our well established and highly motivated NHS Lanarkshire orthodontic team. The Consultant led orthodontic service is delivered from three sites in Lanarkshire at University Hospital Hairmyres, University Hospital Wishaw and University Hospital Monklands. The post will be based primarily at University Hospital Hairmyres. The service aims to deliver high quality orthodontic care in a patient centered environment for complex and multidisciplinary cases.
Excellent nursing and technical support is available from our onsite Orthodontic and Maxillofacial laboratories and there are opportunities to be involved in research and training.
Applicants should possess Membership in Orthodontics and have undertaken both an accredited 3 year training pathway and further 2 years post-CCST training in Orthodontics (or equivalent). Inclusion on the General Dental Council Specialist List in Orthodontics is essential.
