Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility (CRF), incorporates the Wellcome Trust CRF (WTCRF) at WGH, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh CRF (RIECRF), Children’s CRF (CCRF) at RHSC, Centre for Dementia Prevention CRF (CDPCRF) at Edinburgh BioQuarter, and lab and imaging facilities at WGH, RIE and Queen’s Medical Research Institute (QMRI). The CRF provides a streamlined service and state of the art facilities to enable investigators across Lothian to conduct their clinical research efficiently and safely.
Edinburgh CRF enjoys a close working relationship with Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit (ECTU) at NINE Edinburgh BioQuarter. As a registered UKCRC Clinical Trials Unit, ECTU provides an infrastructure to design, plan and deliver clinical research studies across a varied portfolio of clinical specialties in Edinburgh.
Edinburgh CRF is recruiting an innovative and enthusiastic full time Quality Assurance Manager to join our dynamic QA team. Although based in the CRF, this new post will primarily support ECTU by developing and managing their quality management system.
It is expected that candidates will be qualified to degree level, with a sound working knowledge of the regulations governing clinical research and proven experience of developing and implementing quality systems in a clinical research environment.
