We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join the Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Service within Glasgow and Clyde at the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

You will work as an autonomous practitioner providing a high standard of patient care to patients on a one to one basis and in group settings. The role will involve working to support the Service Lead Physiotherapist and including assisting with the development of junior staff and students.

As a member of the physiotherapy team you will work within all areas of the Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy specialty. One day per week of the post will be spent at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where you will be working within the area of Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Outpatients.

 

Obstetric inpatient and outpatients – both antenatal and postnatal

Gynaecology inpatients

Antenatal Education Programmes and Postnatal Rehab programmes 

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy service.

 

A Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration are essential for the post as well as

previous experience within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialty.

 

 You will be required to participate in the evening antenatal education programme and you will participate in the weekend Obstetric service provision to postnatal inpatients.
