MAM25590 Health Care Support Worker - Orthopaedics B2

A Band 2 Health Care Support Worker in a busy elective orthopaedic ward requires excellent communication skills, the ability to plan multiple tasks whilst constantly being interrupted,  the ability to anticipate and plan workload that delivers a high standard of care to a vulnerable post operative group of patients and the ability to assist others in the delivery of healthcare, ensuring that dignity and safety are preserved. Ward 62 has a strong Enhanced Recovery ethos and promoting early mobilisation and independence is a key component of this role. You should have a caring disposition, preferably with experience working in a caring environment/role and the ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.  You should have good communication skills including numeracy skills.  The shift pattern for this post is fully rotational 7 days/nights.
