An exciting opportunity has arisen for self-motivated enthusiastic nurse to work across two remote and rural community settings.
The Primary care practitioner is based within Glenelg Health Centre. This is a new post that incorporates aspects of both practice and community nursing roles.
The community nursing role is based within Locharron and provides services to the local community.
This post will allow you to further develop your interests/skills whilst working alongside colleagues both within the health centre and the wider integrated health and social care team.
You should have a sound knowledge of clinical skills relevant to community nursing, experience of managing long term conditions, excellent communication skills, have the ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team.
There is an on-call commitment for planned unscheduled care of patients.
A full driving licence is essential and a pool car may be available for work purposes but on occasions use of own vehicle will be required.
