We are currently recruiting to posts in both North & South Lanarkshire.
As part of the Band 6 Trainee District Nurse programme the post holder will be supported to deliver accessible, appropriate, high quality and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community by working in partnership with patients, care providers and other agencies. Successful candidates will ensure a person centered approach to ensure safe and effective care delivery. Candidates should have experience within specialty area.
The post holder will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of an accessible, appropriate, high quality and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community by working in partnership with patients, care providers and other agencies.
The post holder will ensure a person centered approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.
The post holder will function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience to lead and enable the Community nursing team to provide a quality nursing service.
The post holder will lead/manage and support the Community nursing team, be a clinical expert, be involved in public health activities, be accountable for a caseload over a 24 hour period and be a key member of the Integrated Primary Care team and other multi-disciplinary groups.
Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
Applicants who do not meet the essential criteria will be considered under the Annex 21 training programme where whilst undergoing training they will be paid 70% of the top of Band 6 (£27,418) and on completion of training will then move on to Band 6 scale.
