Staff Experience Coordinator
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Woodhill House, Westburn Road, Aberdeen
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic person to support the development, implementation, mainstreaming and evaluation of the NHS Grampian Staff Experience work stream, working alongside the Staff Experience Manager.
The Staff Experience Co-ordinator’s role is to support the development of and ongoing coordination of a staff experience system across three projects, i.e. staff retirals, staff long service and the staff Recognition ‘Orange Awards’ events.
It also includes the administration around booking accommodation and coordination of the logistics to facilitate these events plus administering the Orange Awards system to identify those staff who are recognised as going the extra mile.
The postholder will play a key role as a first point of contact for the majority of operational queries and will be expected to project coordinate a number of programmes at any one time, giving them access to confidential information, some of which may be complex and therefore will need to retain the trust of both line manager and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will require to liaise with a wide range of staff, senior NHS Grampian colleagues and a range of senior staff and contacts from external organisations on a regular basis and will act as an interface between NHS Grampian and service providers.
A high standard of interpersonal skills in relation to persuading, influencing, negotiating, motivating, problem solving, collaborative working and networking is required. The post holder will be required to influence others, negotiate and gain co-operation in regard to the initiatives.
