An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic team player to join the Cardiac Cath Labs and associated Day Wards unit.
This critical role is responsible for the management of the flow of high value specialist consumables required to treat the patients requiring the services of Interventional Cardiology Cardiac Cath Labs.
There are five Cath Labs within the Golden Jubilee Interventional Cardiology service, delivering around 7,000 complex interventions across a range of cardiac conditions. Supply of the correct equipment at the right time is essential to the effective delivery of care to each patient and this post is central to that efficient supply.
The department is about to move towards an improved electronic inventory management system and therefore the successful candidate will have demonstrated advanced skills working with electronic systems, being able to demonstrate an adaptive, proactive and problem-solving attitude towards embracing change and implementing systems.
The role also involves complex communication requirements with internal and external groups, and as such you must be able to demonstrate excellent communications skills both verbally and non-verbally. You will have had previous experience in working with complex stock control and have been educated to a minimum of HNC or be able to demonstrate experiential equivalency.
The role is currently based on weekday working, 37.5hrs per week.
