A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an accountancy graduate or part-qualified accountant to join NHS National Services Scotland’s Finance service. NSS Finance strives to deliver excellence in strategic financial management enabled by sound governance, business insight and efficient and effective services.
You will join our Management Accounting team, and will support our work across four pillars of activity for all NSS and its customers:
•    Pay – supporting all workforce analysis, and providing an interface between HR, Payroll and Service Managers, to ensure workforce financial information is accurately managed and reported
•    Non-pay – managing all non-pay expenditure providing a key interface between NSS procurement, NP colleagues, operational finance colleagues supporting accounts payable and VAT and technical accounting advice, to ensure consistency, challenge, contract compliance and value for money from our non-pay spend.
•    Income – driving a consistent approach to the management of income recovery
•    Projects – providing management accounting support to projects and programmes
This is an excellent career opportunity and the successful candidate will be joining a dynamic Finance Service striving to bring financial expertise and solutions to support NSS and the wider NHS in Scotland.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check.
