Salary: £49,480 - £53,414 per annum (AfC Band 8a)

The Quality Assurance Directorate of Healthcare Improvement Scotland provides assurance about the quality and safety of healthcare through independent inspections and reviews of services. It has a vacancy for an Operations Manager to be responsible for co-ordinating and developing the strategy, business planning and governance arrangements for the Directorate, ensuring that its objectives are met, resources are used efficiently and effectively and that the Directorate adheres to corporate governance requirements.
The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating the Directorate staffing resources, staff deployment across the full Directorate and devising and running the business planning processes which support delivery of the Directorate’s objectives.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent leadership, planning and organisational ability and proven skills in successfully developing and maintaining effective working relationships across the organisation and out with in order to ensure the effective and successful delivery of the Directorate’s strategy and delivery plan.
