Band 7 Practice Education Post Clinical Support Services Division (ARI)
22.55 hours week (Fixed Term - 1 year).

The Clinical Support Services Division (ARI) is currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Nurse, interested in developing their career within a Practice Education role. This role will assist in the delivery of training, development and educational activities for all levels of Nursing staff (pre & post registration) & Health Care Support Workers within the Division.
Any candidate should been keen to be involved in developing and maintaining learning environments where both education and lifelong learning are seen as integral to clinical practice and ultimately to achieving the delivery of a high standard of person centred care. The post will also have close links to Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen University and the North of Scotland Colleges.
The CSS Education Team is a small team with one Lead Practice Educator, two part time Band 7 posts, one full time Band 6 Practice Educators & one Band 4 Associate Practice Educator covering the following specialities at ARI;
• 112 Haematology in-patient ward,
• 114 Oncology in-patient ward,
• Haematology & Oncology (ANCHOR) Outpatient Departments,
• In Patient Radiology and
• Out Patient Departments.
You should have extensive experience as a Band 6 or above and educated to Degree level. Whilst a teaching qualification would be desirable it is not essential for this fixed term contract. A proven interest in training, education and professional development for all staff would be essential and further development would be supported within the role.
