An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Pharmacy Department for a Rotational Higher Level Pharmacy Technician 

Your key duties will include managing the day to day workload of the dispensary/aseptic unit which includes the preparation of Chemotherapy Intrathecal’s Clinical Trials. Dispensing and accuracy checking prescriptions including oral chemotherapy ward and outpatient prescriptions Distribution services for wards and clinics supervising and training of all technical and support staff.  You should hold a pharmacy technician qualification and previous aseptic experience is essential, as well as good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.  You must also be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and hold an accredited aseptic checking qualification (PACT) and or Dispensary checking qualification (FACPT).  This is a full time post 37.5hours worked over 5/7 and includes weekend working and participation in the public holiday rotas. .The main site for working will be at New Victoria Hospital but can be asked to work at other preparative services sites (Beatson and Royal Hospital for Children)
