An opportunity for a Fixed Term post has become available for a Medical Secretary to give an excellent standard of secretarial and administrative support to the Hospital palliative Care Team at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.  This welcoming and dynamic team will offer a supportive workplace for someone who has sound knowledge of systems such and Trakcare, Winscribe and Microsoft packages.  Applicants will demonstrate excellent communication skills, be a keen team worker and driven to provide excellent standards at all times.  Informal contact is encouraged.  You should have an HNC/SVQIII in Secretarial Studies/Business administration or equivalent experience and be                                                                                                                                                                

proficient in use of software systems including Microsoft Office Packages.  You should have advanced keyboard skills and have some medical terminology knowledge.  The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday 4 days over 7 or 5 days over 7. 


This is a Fixed term post for 12 months.
