The Sandyford Initiative in Glasgow is part of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and is a city wide centre for sexual, reproductive and emotional health. The Sandyford was formed by the integration of Family Planning and Reproductive Health, Genitourinary Medicine and Sexual Health, The Steve Retson Project (for gay and bisexual men) and The Sandyford Counselling and Support Service. It provides a range of drop-in and appointment services, clinical, information and counselling services at its city centre and 24 community sites approximately 100,000 clients per year You will delegate the responsibility to resolve day to day issues relating to the operational management of the centres, liaising with Estates Department, Hotel Services, Telecommunications, Health & Safety, Fire Advisors and outside contractors as required to ensure the smooth running of operations. You will develop a close working relationship with GP practices and all other independent contractors to promote shared responsibility to ensure a safe environment for all users of the premises. You must ensure that all Health and Safety systems are being maintained and undertake risk assessments, making all departmental staff are aware of current policies and procedures. You should have a recognised qualification in Administration equivalent to HNC in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration, or SVQ in Administration at Level 3, or significant relevant equivalent practical experience. The shift pattern for this post is 8.00am – 4.00pm.
