You should be able to deliver a planned maintenance, repair and installation service which represents quality and value for money at all times.
Provide a safe maintenance service for all plant, equipment and service infrastructure in the healthcare environment and supervise maintenance staff.
You will assist in the development of the estates function. You will manage the day to day maintenance works by prioritising tasks in terms of importance and effect on patient care. You are required to assess importance of competing demands and allocate resources or at times negotiate with departments on work scheduling access times. It is essential that you have completed an apprenticeship in a Building service/Engineering/Contruction discipline, SVQ level 4 higher National Diploma, Modern Apprenticeship. The shift pattern for this post is 12 hours rota, 7.00am - 7.00pm, 7.00pm - 7.00am plus a relief shift 9.00am - 5.00pm.
