An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join the Outpatients and Pre-operative Assessment Department. Experience in OPD or pre-operative assessment desirable for this vacancy. You will work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of person-centered care to a defined patient group within the wide variety of Consultant led clinics such as General Surgery, Vascular, Plastic Surgery Gastroenterology Cardiology and ENT amongst other specialties. There will also be a responsibility to work within the Nurse Led Clinics where you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidenced based programs of care with reference to patients, without direct supervision. You will co-ordinate the provision of seamless care for patients from Pre-operative Assessment to admission to hospital for Surgery, utilising efficient verbal and written communication practices with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
It is essential you are a Registered Adult Nurse with significant post registration experience.
The shift pattern is Mon-Friday 8-5 days hours to be agreed.
