Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Required
(Full-time/Part-time considered)
To supplement our existing ANP team, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Part-Time Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our friendly, forward thinking, team. The Ellon Group Practice is a training and undergraduate teaching practice, committed to providing excellent clinical care, supporting a patient list of circa 15,700. The successful candidate will provide direct management of evidence based holistic patient centred care to the practice population in accordance with practice procedures, protocols and timescales, ensuring strictest confidentiality at all times, in collaboration and consultation with the GP team.
The post holder will have successfully completed an RCN accredited qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent) and be a registered non-medical prescriber. Considered applicants will be expert clinical practitioners, responsible for providing advanced clinical assessments, working autonomously, utilising high levels of decision making and clinical judgement in relation to patient care, including the diagnosis and management of acute conditions. Hours will be negotiable.
Communication (providing and receiving highly complex and sensitive information), highly developed specialist knowledge underpinned by theory and experience, pro-activity and good teamwork are essential skills to successfully fulfil this role.
