Procurement within NHS Highland is on a journey of improvement, we have invested in a number of new posts within the procurement team over the last 9 months, and now have a fixed term role for a Procurement Administration Officer with the team for 12 months.
We're looking for an individual to come and support us in the transformation of our PECOS transactional order processing function. Candidates should be curious and inquisitive an individual who enjoys a challenge, in a fast paced environment with the drive and passion for providing great customer service.
This role will involve working with colleagues in the transactional team and with our many requesters across Highland, supporting the purchasing of goods and services across a wide range of commodity areas.
Candidates will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to supporting these changes. This will involve liaising with colleagues, customers and suppliers, while listening and learning about the complexities of the process. Patience and attention to detail are also really important as it may be necessary support individuals who don’t use the system often, to ensure they can order what is needed quickly and effectively.
