WEST OF TRAINING PROGRAMME IN ANAESTHESIA
1 YEAR ADVANCED TRAINING POST IN PAIN MANAGEMENT
SPECIALIST/SPECIALTY REGISTRAR
Applications are invited for the above post, which offers high quality, specialist training in multi-disciplinary and interventional pain management. The post is for a fixed period of 1 year, from February 2021 and is recognised for Advanced Training in Pain Management by the Royal College of Anaesthetists. Eligible candidates must be in ST6 or ST7 at commencement of post.
The post will include experience at several hospitals in the Greater Glasgow area with the majority of training occurring at the North and pain units. Pain training in Glasgow includes exposure to spinal cord stimulation service, intrathecal device implantation and both an inpatient and outpatient pain management programme.
The Postgraduate Dean confirms that this programme has the required educational and Postgraduate Dean's approval.
