Job Purpose


To provide technical support to all areas relating to IT Network Infrastructure.


The post holder will support the IT Network Infrastructure in providing technical input for the implementation and support of all network equipment and systems within the remit of IT Infrastructure.


The post holder will work together with colleagues and users in NHSL and other external agencies to provide technical support for all network hardware and software


Additional Information Specific to the Role


  • Troubleshoot issues relating to network systems or equipment which affects the provision of IT services
  • Configure and install networking equipment for use on NHS Lanarkshire premises
  • Monitor and maintain information within the SolarWinds network monitoring system
  • Contribute to Project activities within and out with eHealth where there is an IT networking element identified
  • Support the network elements of the Digital Telephony platform across NHS Lanarkshire.
