This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly, dynamic and efficient ward that has multi-function encompassing care delivery to patients within the Colorectal, Upper GI and Urology specialties, often following their journey from Critical Care.  There is also currently a finite opportunity to deliver care within the Vascular Specialty.

We are looking for an outgoing, caring and compassionate individual who wants the opportunity of working within the multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, patient-centred care and has the quality attributes to adapt to the diversity of the role.  It is essential that you have good communication and interpersonal skills and are enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Applicants ideally should have post registration experience working in acute care, however we offer the opportunity of supported learning development for those with limited experience.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to assess, plan and implement care safely and efficiently.  Working in this busy ward you will gain wide exposure in a surgical setting whilst gaining competency in many clinical skills.

If you would like to learn more about the post or visit the ward, informal enquiries are welcomed by SCN Claire McBean on 01463 704459.
