Learning Disability Staff Nurse – Band 5 – part time and full time opportunities available; the salary will be pro rata for part time.
A number of opportunities are available for highly motivated and enthusiastic experienced band 5 RNLD staff nurses to join our learning disability service and work in partnership with 3rd sector providers, delivering excellent standards of individualised care to adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).
Successful candidates will have excellent and organisational skills and have the ability to demonstrate clear professional judgement and decision making. Applicants must be registered nurses with valid NMC registration.
A flexible approach to working in this 24 hour service is essential to ensure safe, effective, person centred care is delivered. A genuine interest in working with people with PMLD and associated health care needs such as Epilepsy is essential. Training opportunities are available, and you will be actively supported to develop and meet the requirements for NMC revalidation.
Previous experience in working with clients with pmld is preferable, although not essential.
