You will provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the Radiology Department and relevant staff groups/individuals including Consultants, SpR, radiographic, support , nursing staff , Superintendents, Admin Manager and Office Manager. You will also be expected to provide cross Sector Supervisory cover to meet department needs and during times of leave or as required, where you will be responsible for the supervision and organisation of administrative systems and processes within radiology to effectively support the clinical service in line with local site demands.

You should be educated to HNC/NVQ level 4 in Secretarial / Business Administration or have relevant equivalent experience. It is essential that you have proficient keyboard and computer skills and are experienced with packages such as Microsoft office, Office 365 (email, word, and excel). The ability to be flexible, to work proactively, and team working are key to this post. You must also possess good organisational and communication skills.

The hours of this post are contracted 37.5hrs worked within a shift pattern during the hours of 8am-8pm, across a 7 day week. The shift pattern can change and will be agreed dependent on service needs. The current shift pattern will be 8.45am - 5pm (Mon - Fri) during training. The post covers the Clyde Sector, where you will be required to travel across sites on a regular basis. However your main base will be RAH. You will also be expected to travel across Greater Glasgow & Clyde sites as and when required.
