A Vacancy has arisen for a Nursing Assistant to work within our Surgical Day Unit (Monday to Friday 0730-2000 hours)
The Golden Jubilee National Hospital is based in Clydebank on the banks of the River Clyde. Free parking is available, close to transport links and Glasgow city centre.
The Golden Jubilee is Scotland's flagship hospital for reducing patient waiting times. We are also a centre of excellence for Orthopaedics and home to the Regional and National Heart and Lung Services - providing safe, effective and person centred care for all our patients.
The successful candidate must be able to work in a busy unit and provide a high standard of safe, effective and compassionate person centred care to patients within the speciality. The post holder will report to and assist the RN on duty and must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and display a positive approach and the ability to work effectively within the busy team. The post holder will be required to competently perform the necessary technical / physical aspects of care for patients within this specialty.
You should be able to demonstrate your commitment to ongoing personal and professional development and the ability to adapt to the diverse and variable demands of a multi specialist unit.
Previous experience in a surgical setting is desirable for this position.
