East Ayrshire’s Children’s Health Care and Justice Service welcome applications from highly motivated individuals to join the Early Years Health Visiting team.
The post provides interventional support for families and programmes of work which is delegated and supervised by the child’s Health Visitor or Family Nurse. The Health Visitor Support Workers are integral to the local Health Visiting teams in East Ayrshire where joint working with partners is essential to the delivery of co-ordinated care with families.
A key interest in areas of positive parenting, child communication, language development, nutrition, play and healthy weight are essential.
Successful candidates will benefit from high quality training and development which will be required to be undertaken in this role.
Our service is dedicated to work with children and families supporting them have improved health and well being outcomes. We are looking for candidates that have undertaken further academic study at SPQ level 7 or 8, or SVQ level 3 / HNC in the field of Early Years Care and Education, Child Development, NNEB or equivalent qualification in childcare.
This is a permanent post 37.5 hours per week over 5 days
