Glasgow Clinical Research Facility (GCRF) incorporates Clinical Research Facilities at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Children’s Clinical Research Facility at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Jointly they provide a streamlined service to investigators to conduct their clinical research efficiently and safely. We are recruiting an enthusiastic Clinical Research Educator to support GCRF staff to develop and maintain skills and competencies to provide quality care for patients and volunteers. You will be working within the Education and Quality team. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC, with an interest and experience in education and practice development. You will be trained and supported to develop the GCRF Education programme, including GCRF clinical research induction and on-going staff competencies. You will work to regulatory and research principles and have an understanding of the research context of regulations and frameworks. The hours of work are predominately 8:30am – 4:30pm but you will be required to take a flexible approach in order to meet the needs of the service. The ability to travel between all sites within NHS GGC is also essential.
