You will participate in both scheduled and unscheduled care interventions to meet health and social care needs of the local population. You will work within Greater Glasgow & Clyde (GGC) policies and procedures e.g. Health & Safety, Infection Control & Lone Working. You will also work within clearly defined protocols and guidelines in accordance with GGC Health Care support worker Framework. Using TURAS you will participate in HCSW induction processes and attend and identified training on an ongoing basis which is subject to appraisal by line manager. Within Inverclyde HSCP there is a collaborative partnership approach amongst teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients, carers and families.
Skills / Qualifications:
While no formal qualification required a SVQ 2 or 3 in Healthcare would be advantageous
Good standard of education
Good interpersonal skills
Basic IT skills required.
Current Driving Licence.
The shift pattern is worked in a established rota including weekends and Public Holidays.
