We are seeking enthusiastic Occupational Therapists who are looking to develop/or gain experience in community rehabilitation, as part of our team. Based at Dundee & Angus Independent Living & Community Equipment Centre (DAILCEC), and Kings Cross hospital.


The permanent post is to job share 18.75 hrs with a member of the team.


The fixed term post for 20 months to cover a secondment, but may become permanent.



As part of a move to locality working we work in East and West teams co located with our  Physiotherapy colleagues.

You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skill by delivering OT interventions to patients within the Dundee Community, and be responsible for maximising the functional potential of patients. This team routinely receives referrals from hospitals within Dundee, GP practices, other health and social care providers, third sector providers and self-referrals from patients.


As services may be provided over seven days in order to support patient flow as well as testing different delivery models, flexible working hours will be required as part of this post.


 N.B. Currently there is no weekend working at Community rehabilitation.


There will be opportunities to develop leadership skills. The Occupational Therapists will contribute to improvement in the service as part of the wider rehabilitation service with physiotherapy colleagues.
