Clinical Lead (Quality Improvement and Clinical Governance)
Salary Scale – Consultant, GP salaried range or Associate Specialist depending on current grade.
Hours –20 hours- 5 PAs (+ 2 additional PAs dependent upon external funding)
This new senior medical post has been created has been created to provide clinical and operational leadership for the delivery of the NSS Quality Improvement and Clinical Governance Framework and to fulfil NHS NSS’s commitment to embed Triple Value in all that it does. The successful candidate will report to the Deputy Medical Director and will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Dependent upon external funding this role will be combined with the role of Realistic Medicine Clinical Lead with the potential of up to another 2 PAs.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme Disclosure/Disclosure Scotland check. Any candidate who has worked overseas for more than 3 months will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency
