An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse, to join the Skin cancer team in NHS Tayside
We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as part of the skin cancer team based in Dermatology. You will work across multiple specialities including dermatology, plastic surgery, oncology, oral maxillo-facial service and liaison with transplantation services. Oncology experience/knowledge is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required, as is the ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and evidence of continuous professional development.
This is a training post; which offers an opportunity to further develop. The successful candidate will complete; Skin Cancer Module, Clinical Assessment and Non-medical prescribing at SCQF Level 11 alongside in-house training. It is an expectation that as a trainee you will successfully achieve the required qualifications within 24 months of appointment. A Band 7 role is accessible at the end of the training period.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register.

Hours of work are: 37.5hrs per week.
