Administrative/Audiology Assistant (Ref: 31383)
Band 3
Part Time - 20 hours per week
Salary Range £20,700 - £22,594 per annum (pro rata)
A vacancy has arisen for an Administrative/Audiology Assistant within the Audiology Department at the Gilbert Bain Hospital.
The Administrative/Audiology Assistant’s role is to provide general clerical support to the department and basic audiology clinical duties to support the Chief Audiologist. Duties will include answering telephone and email enquiries, making appointments and general office management including accurate management of the hospital and departmental computer systems. You will work also closely with the Chief Audiologist to support the delivery of basic audiology clinical care to patients through face to face, video or telephone appointments.
You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of working effectively within a team but also have the skills required for lone working at times. You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, including good attention to detail. You will also have a good standard of general education, and able to demonstrate computer literacy. All training required to perform basic audiology clinical care duties will be provided.

All posts qualify for a Distant Island Allowance of £1,895 per annum (pro rata for part-time and fixed term positions).
