You will be required to provide an efficient secretarial and administrative service to Consultants and associated medical staff within the rheumatology. The role is highly specialised and diverse and demands excellent organisational skills along with a high degree of knowledge and accuracy in both secretarial and administrative procedures. You must have excellent communication skills, dealing with patients, colleagues and other members of the multidisciplinary team. You must be able to concentrate on essential tasks despite frequent interruptions. This post is full time. It is desirable for you to have a Business Management/Administration Qualification or equivalent knowledge and skills in medical administration . Essential skills are the ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines and have good knowledge of all Microsoft software. The shift pattern for this post is over 5 days Monday to Friday
