We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional health care assistant to join our friendly
teams to work approximately 21 hours per week on a permanent basis. Your time will be
split between running surgeries and carrying out domiciliary phlebotomy services therefore a
driving license and own transport are essential. You must be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary
team as well as on your own initiative. Requirements for the post include being
well organised, methodical with excellent communication skills in addition to being fully
trained in phlebotomy. Experience working within a General Practice/Community setting
would be an advantage. Training and on-going support will be available to suitable
candidate.
The post will require working at Mill Lane Surgery on Tuesday and Thursday and at Restalrig
Park Medical Centre on Wednesday and Friday each week. Occasionally there will be a need
to cover annual leave at one of the practices so some flexibility will be required.
