Staff Nurse - Neonatal Unit

There are 3 Neonatal Units within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Level 3 care is provided at The Royal Hospital for  Children and The Princess Royal Maternity Hospital. The Neonatal Unit at The Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley provides Level 2 care.  You will be responsible for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care, and/or the implementation and evaluation of these programmes ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients. In the absence of the ward manager, provide cover to ensure the effective operation of the clinical area. You should be a registered nurse or have an midwifery qualification (appropriate part of NMC Register relevant to area) with evidence of continuing professional development equivalent and have a neonatal qualification, good communications skills and have the revalent experience within relevant area. The hours of this posts are worked on a rotational shift pattern of day and nights shifts across 7 days.
