Provide progressive Estates maintenance management to all properties within the Estates Operational Unit ensuring the Directly Employed Labour Organisation and measured term and specialist contractors are utilised effectively and efficiently within financial limits and comply with statutory and service requirements.
Develop partnerships with appropriate managers, internal and external to the Estates Operational Unit, to ensure comprehensive communications and an integrated Estates Management Service within each hospital complex.
Contribute to the development of a proactive Property & Infrastructure Strategy and implement recommendations.
Provide a professional advisor role for building, engineering issues in association to buildings and the Estate in the area. This is to ensure the safe and effective functioning of the facilities.
