The post holder is expected to undertake face fit testing as directed by the RPES Team Lead and importantly working with Service staff to ensure that there is in place an effective system for the use, checking and maintaining Respiratory Protective Equipment and associated other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
The post holder will support, assist and provide specialist advice to nursing and medical staff based on the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Guidance document HSG 53, Respiratory Protective Equipment at Work 2013 and HSE document INDG479, Guidance on respiratory protective equipment (RPE) fit testing.
