An excellent development opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Management Accountant to join the Capital Team within NHS Tayside’s Finance Directorate, based in Dundee.

The successful candidate will work as a member of the Capital Finance Team, and will have close working relationships with other teams within the Finance Directorate. You will provide guidance, and support to budget managers across NHS Tayside to achieve effective budgetary control on capital projects to deliver service objectives within available resources, and to ensure effective provision of reporting.
You should have relevant accounting experience and either be fully qualified or making progress towards a professional accountancy qualification. Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, the ability to manage change and to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders are essential qualities.Salary placement will be dependent on progress towards full membership of a recognised professional accountancy body and/or experience to date. Candidates who are not yet fully qualified will be appointed under Annex 21
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
