As an EMIS Administration Assistant based at Old Irvine Road Clinic, Kilmarnock working within the East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership, you will provide a comprehensive EMIS clerical service for East Ayrshire District Nursing Teams. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.  Primary duties will mainly be transcribing answering machines messages, receiving calls and population of EMIS, face to face interaction with colleagues, relatives and patients and dealing with telephone enquiries from patients, relatives, GPs and other external and internal agencies. 

With relevant IT qualifications (ECDL) experience, previous Hospital/Community, experience and EMIS experience is desirable, however training will be provided.

Post 1: 37.5 hours per week, fixed term for 12 months.

Post 2: 30.0 hours per week, fixed term for 12 months
