Position: Fixed Term GP Locum, 3 days per week
Duration: 9 months (or part thereof)
Start Date: February 2021
The O’Connell Street Medical Practice, Hawick, has an opening for a fixed term locum appointment, to cover a period of anticipated maternity leave.
We are looking for a GP to join our team for a period of 9 months, starting February 2021, working 3 days (6 sessions) per week in practice. We have some flexibility on start date and working days, and would welcome contact from applicants who are available for part of this period.
We are a friendly medium sized practice (list size of 7,000 patients), with good work life balance and quality patient care at our core. We have a stable team of five GPs and a full complement of practice nursing, health care assistant, nurse practitioner and pharmacy.
We will be offering competitive rates of pay at £450 per standard day and £500 per duty day. In addition, as long as the nationally agreed enhanced COVID sessional rate is in place, we will be offering a daily enhanced COVID payment of £130, taking the daily rate of pay to £580.
