An opportunity exists for 2 experienced Registered Nurses to apply for a position within the Haematology Department at Ninewells Hospital. One years post registration experience is desirable.


We require innovative and motivated individuals to join our team. Evidence of a high level of clinical expertise and continuing professional development is essential. We also require that you are able to extend your role according to clinical need to enhance the care of patients with cancer and haematology disorders. We also require you to be willing to cover the PRI Oncology and Haematology Day Case Area if required. You must also be willing to undertake chemotherapy study and training according to service requirements.


The post holder will be responsible to the Senior Charge Nurse of Ward 34.


You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register. 


Hours of work are:  Position 1 37.5 hours per week.

                               Position 2  22.5 hours per week
