An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the nursing team within the Endoscopy Unit, Perth Royal Infirmary. The Endoscopy Service at Perth is a 5 day service and provides a full range of both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including Colonoscopy, Gastroscopy, Sigmoidoscopy and Bronchoscopy for both out-patients and in-patients. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who will enjoy working in a challenging environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day leadership and management of the nursing team within the unit, acting as a clinical expert and promoting the delivery of high quality care. This role will provide the opportunity to influence and develop nursing practice within the Endoscopy setting.
Applicants should have proven ability in influencing change along with effective leadership and management skills.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and must demonstrate a commitment to improving standards of care and evidence of continuous professional development.
We want our Endoscopy Units to be places where patients come first, therefore we require an individual to who will work as part of the team, ensuring the delivery of safe effective care for patients.
There may be a requirement to travel and work at the Ninewells Endoscopy Unit.
You must be registered on Sub Part 1 RN1/RNA of the NMC Register and have experience at senior level within Endoscopy, Gastroenterology nursing or an acute setting.
